How Codeniza and the GAUAB app collect, use, protect, share, and delete information.

Codeniza (codeniza.com) operates the GAUAB educational website and Android application. GAUAB provides books, articles, exams, certificates, account tools, and support. Privacy questions may be sent to alaa.dw@gmail.com or through the GAUAB support page.
We may process information supplied by a user, parent, guardian, or school, including name, username, email address, account credentials, language, support messages, and form submissions. To provide learning features, we may process saved content, reading activity, exam attempts, answers, scores, progress, certificates, comments, reports, and preferences.
For operation and security we may process IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, timestamps, session identifiers, and error or security logs. Approximate location may be inferred from IP. The app does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or call logs.
The GAUAB Android app displays one banner advertisement supplied through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) performs the required privacy handling before the Mobile Ads SDK is initialized. If privacy handling fails or UMP does not permit ad requests, GAUAB does not initialize advertising.
GAUAB's Google Play target audience is users aged 13 and over. The app requests non-personalized ads and limits ad content to the G rating. Build 8 declares the Android advertising ID (AAID) permission. The Google Mobile Ads SDK and eligible advertising partners may process AAID when available for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance. Availability and use of AAID depend on Android settings, user consent, region, and Google's policies.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or share the device IP address and approximate location; device and app information such as operating system, device model, language, app version, and SDK version; advertising interactions such as impressions and clicks; diagnostic and performance information; and identifiers such as the Android advertising ID (AAID), when available, and the app set ID. Google and eligible advertising partners may use this information for contextual ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance. Where Google requires privacy options to remain available, users can open Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app.
The public GAUAB website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve performance. Google may process device, browser, interaction, and approximate-location information under its own privacy terms. Codeniza does not use this information for targeted advertising. Analytics used in child-directed experiences must be configured consistently with applicable child-privacy laws and Google Play Families requirements.
Information is used to provide and secure accounts, deliver learning content, track progress, respond to support and deletion requests, moderate comments and reports, prevent abuse, fix errors, serve contextual advertising, and comply with law. Codeniza does not sell personal information and does not use children's information for personalized advertising. Information may be shared only with providers supporting hosting, email, security, support, analytics, and advertising; when directed by a user or parent; or when reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance.
The GAUAB Android app is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users who have not reached the age of legal consent in their region should use GAUAB with a parent or guardian's authorization where required. We do not knowingly direct the app to children under 13. A parent or guardian may request access, correction, or deletion; if we learn that information from a child under 13 was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Account information is kept while an account is active and as needed to provide the service. Support, security, and audit records may be kept for a reasonable period to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. Deletion can be requested in the app or at gauab.com/en/account-deletion. Associated data is deleted or anonymized unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or law. Protected backups may retain copies temporarily until the normal backup cycle ends.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Users and parents may request access, correction, deletion, or further information through support or the email above. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
