The highly anticipated Redmi K80 is set to debut in China on November 27, alongside its more advanced sibling, the Redmi K80 Pro. The Redmi K80 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with Rage Engine 4.0 and a dedicated D1 graphics chipset, making it a powerful contender in the smartphone market. Both variants of the Redmi K80 series will support 5G connectivity and feature 2K displays. In addition, Redmi has shared further details about the Redmi K80, revealing new color options and key features. The Redmi Watch 5 and Buds 6 Pro will also be launched alongside the K80 series.


Key Features of the Redmi K80


The Redmi K80 will be available in a new “Xiyue Blue” color, confirmed by a recent Weibo post. The phone features a 2.5D vertical edge design with a matte finish metal frame, offering a sleek and lightweight build. Compared to its predecessor, the Redmi K70, which weighed 209g, the Redmi K80 is expected to be lighter, enhancing portability.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi K80 will be priced under CNY 3,000 (approximately ₹34,900). The phone will include dual-loop 3D ice-cooling technology to ensure efficient thermal management. It will also feature a 2K display and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. For durability, the device will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring water and dust resistance – similar to the Pro variant.


Redmi K80 Series Specifications

The Redmi K80 Pro will come equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, supported by a robust 6,000mAh battery, capable of 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The Pro model will boast a 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 protection, ensuring an immersive viewing experience with exceptional durability.

When it comes to photography, the Redmi K80 Pro will feature the Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it will sport a 50MP floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and a 32MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view (FoV).

Previously teased in a Snow Rock White color option, the Redmi K80 Pro is expected to impress with its sleek design and powerful camera capabilities. Both models in the Redmi K80 series will run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, ensuring a seamless and feature-rich user experience.
